I was finally impressed by the witch for once. If Puddleglum’s hypothesis about the sudden disaster in the underworld was right. Then, that’s at least one thing she did right. If I were the witch I might cast an even stronger spell on my death. Some spells instantly kill whoever kills me. So, I’m hundred percent certain that my murderer dies. Or even a revival spell that can let me revive shortly after my death. What if she actually became alive and chases after Jill and their friends. In the end, they engage in an epic battle to the death again. My personal scenario would be that the witch kills all of them properly this time. Since if she can revive and then the witch can have endless attempts to win.

Chapter 13 Underland without the Queen

1. What theory did Puddleglum have about the strange events in Underworld?

Puddleglum thought that the witch has cast a spell on herself that if she dies, not long after the water would rise, the fire would burn and the earth would tremble to kill everything around her so that she won’t die alone.

2. Why didn’t the Prince want to put on his armor? What happened to his shield? What did he think it meant?

Because he does not like the look of it he said also because it also reminds him of his slavery time. The black shield turned bright as Silver color and with a red figure of Aslan. He thought that this means that Aslan is to be their lord and their life is decided by him.

3. How does Jill’s attitude toward the horses show her courage and character?

She rode the horse through the dark cave without fear or disgust like before, this shows that she is now a completely different person.
